Description

2007 Sea Ray 48 Sundancer

Twin Cummins QSC 8.3 V-Drives | 1,086 / 1,089 Hours | Hydraulic Platform | Bow & Stern Thrusters | Updated Garmin Electronics

The 48 Sundancer remains one of Sea Ray’s most respected express cruisers, combining a substantial running surface, excellent accommodations and a layout that continues to hold its own against much newer boats.

This 2007 is particularly well equipped with the highly desirable twin Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel package paired with conventional V-drives. With approximately 1,086 and 1,089 hours, the engines received their comprehensive 1,000-hour service in 2022 and have seen very limited use since.

The conventional V-drive configuration is an important distinction for buyers specifically looking to avoid pod propulsion, while bow and stern thrusters provide excellent maneuverability around the dock. The stern thruster has also been recently replaced.

At the helm, the electronics have been substantially updated with twin networked Garmin 7612 multifunction displays, Garmin radar and FLIR infrared night vision.

A hydraulic swim platform adds significant versatility for carrying a tender or PWC and creates an excellent extension of the cockpit while at anchor. The full cockpit enclosure is in excellent condition and considerably extends the boat’s usable season.

Overall, the boat presents extremely well for her year. The hull sides, exterior soft goods and canvas have all been well preserved. Below deck, the interior remains in very good condition, with only typical age-related wear visible in portions of the clear-coated cabinetry.
